She was arrested in december, late december of that same year. They did not announce their arrival ahead of time, but simply took hold of her and then began to search the castle. Ah, they did find a dead body. So that didn't look good. The countess's accomplices, pointed out helpfully by the rest of the staff, were seized and as part of their interrogation. One must torture a potential witness to get the truth out. It still kind of blows our minds to day that for some reason, are we on a pedestal? Do lady persons not commit such atrocities? I mean, statistically, no, eh.
