The Axis Shift 2,500 Years Ago
A level one shift would be something like the shift during the Industrial Revolution where the whole world system more or less shifted. But still it was not a shift in worldview, we were still sort of operating through that level two shift with the same worldview. A level four shift would be the axial age shift 2,500 years ago. That's when we essentially left our hunter-gatherer society to live in cities and form empires.
