The Durable Goods Inflation Is Transitory

Eric Schiller: The argument about durable goods inflation being transitory does make sense. But as you noted, durable goods is something about 10% of CPI. And the rise of housing, if you just look at the case, Schiller, it has exploded higher. This would suggest that we could expect over the next 12 months or so owner equivalent rent to be very high in CPI.
