How Do You Represent the Chaos of the Universe With Mathematical Representations?
Our brains aren't infinite, so you can't fit infinity in there. Newton's laws of motion tell us about the crazy motions of all the planets and sort of locked them into place to some mathematical rigor. So we know that mathematics is very helpful in helping us understand what's going on out there. We have lots of really nice theories of the universe that are beautiful, but probably not correct. It seems like math is definitely sort of larger than physics.
