The Pandemic and Its Effects
During the pandemic, most defenses were done online. I think it evolved from the fact that it was very difficult to organize a physical quorum of experts and say Townsville or Perth or Adelaide. It's possible in a city like Boston because there's an awful lot of universities within spit and distance. And sometimes people would come from Indiana or Dallas or wherever. The whole thing done in a day, you get some plain work, you fly in, you have a good time. But yeah. Even that apparently was pre-plake too much time for people,. which of course I completely understand.
