Is EMG a Good Management Strategy?
A lot of people use rationalism or rationalist arguments to support what they're doing, which I don't necessarily think is a bad way to go if there is no empirical data to like inform your decision. The confidence has to be proportional to the level of data that you actually have. If you had say muscle protein synthesis data, that gets you a couple steps closer to the outcome you're interested in than EMG is. And then acute, and then acute muscle protein synthesis should be associated with longitudinal training outcomes to some degree hypertrophy, et cetera.
