I've Never Been to Puerto Rico but I'm a Puerto Rican and I Grew Up in Puerto Rico

Jenna, I actually grew up in Puerto Rico and I would love to go just because culture and you know, becoming closer with my heritage. But I come from, there's six kids in my family that's a lot of plane tickets. My parents work full time. A big part of it for me too is I don't speak Spanish. It's something that I'm very familiar with. I just never learned how to properly speak or proper grammar so that creates some sort of disconnect. "I think Latin representation in media is so weak and really could use a big push," she said.
