How Does an Ice Penetrating Radar Work?
Ice penetrating radar is facing downward, and so the pulses are admitted. They go down through, in many cases, kilometers of ice,. Are measuring how thick the ice is, bouncing off the bottom of the ice stiand this is how we know how thick anarticai is and what the continent looks like underneath it. Other radars are in more imaging configurations for their making sort of pictures, not slices of a cake.
