Learning Disciplines to Stay Current

i've heard him say, you know, if you live a very boring life, you can have a very meaningful life. It's the patterns and the compound interest over time. And i've seen similar principles at work in my own life. That's super helpful. You have to read a lot or learn a lot to stay current in your field. Things are changing all the time. What are your reading habits? Your learning disciplines that help you stay current)? I would say i am trying to learn, at least from a anusr standpoint, things that are relative to us.
