How Do You Tune Out the Critics?

There seems to be a disturbing level of people that are somehow demotivated to reach for the stars. How do you tune out the critics? I've found good coaches that give me great feedback. No one great is really critical of others, no one who's actually doing the work and creating things are talking bad about others.
