How do we help kids to start to feel that they have the skills to deal with particular problems? It's also how do we involve kids in charitable activities that give them a sense of purpose? How do we look for their peers? An agency. And so I say, when I go into any organization or school, that's what I'm looking at. Does this organization, does leadership, does any person coming in? Do they feel welcome and connected?"
Dr. Robert Brooks is a leading expert on resilience. He is a Doctor of Psychology, serves on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, and has authored or co-authored over 19 books.
