How to Be Gentle and Compassionate With Yourself

meditation allows you to cultivate those feelings and then apply them to yourself. A lot of us, as children went through various forms of trama, resulted in an inner dialogue that can sometimes become very negative. And so tivating this loving kindness for others and then being able to apply that to yourself is actually deeply connective. It works against hyper individualism. By cultivating compassion for other people and then for yourself, you can see how human beings have deep suffering in our bo ies, in our lives and our pasts. All of us suffer in our own ways.
