Upsy Daisies
All of the characters have these reduplication names because they sound funny repeating sounds that we're wanting them to learn. There's oops a daisy which is quite a childish phrase you've got the hahoos Tom Lee boo Tom Lee boo and then you've got Ninky Nunk and the pinky punk who are the vehicles. These are all reduplicative words and we this is we use them with children I think as an expression of sympathy isn't it Oopsy daisy basically sort of saying to the child oh wait you might have fallen over and hurt yourself but it's okay upsy daisy is lovely and very weird.
