Using AI to Resurrect the Dead
Digital Restoration can 3D scan ancient documents in incredible detail and let an AI go to work. While we could learn a lot from a damaged scroll or body that was preserved this way, you cannot unburn the Library of Alexandria or un-creamate someone whose ashes were scattered to the wind. But you never know when you'll find an old chamber, seared-kannopic jar or crypt that's in horrible condition but actually has kernels of preserved data for us to use.
