The Importance of Music

Haylor: I think with each of these records, I was really impacted or obsessed in some way, almost traumatized by hearing them. And it's an experience I haven't had with music in a long time, but I love the way music can do that. It's not anything you can articulate precisely about the style, but it just kind of hits you as this wave. Each of these record triggered something in me that I was never able to explain, but this kind of changed the way I think about music or the way I want to write music.
