How Do Super Recognisers Learn Faces?
Researchers used eye tracking technology to investigate where super recognizes are looking in the face when they are trying to learn and remember somebody's face. They did have a different fixation pattern, so they did fixate or look at different features on the face. The other thing we noticed is part of this experiment, we impaired people's ability to perceive the face as a whole. And what we're able to find is that super recognizer can recognize faces and learn faces with significantly impaired site of the face.
