The first person i thought of was edith wharton because she, she'd be good company. But that's actually not who it's going to be. Chekov and wright would get along like a couple of old friends. They both came from poor, hard scrabble parents. And they worked very hard to become writers in a milieu where, you know, not much encouraged them to be writers.
