The Trouble With Denying Christ

If we deny him, he will also deny us. If we are faithless, he remains faithful for he cannot deny himself. This is a great little reversal here because I guarantee you, if you were just reading these lines for the first time, you were not expecting the words of verse 13 to be what they are right after itright on the heels of verse 12. But it feels like it contradicts the thing before it. That's what it feels like. And so to explain this verse, we have to go on to the next verse. So Paul will say that this saying is trustworthy. So you can trust this. Yes, this is just some keep on believing. Amen.
