"I've got to say I had the least jet lag I've ever had on one of my trips to California and I changed multiple variables," he says. "Caffeine is such a popular topic, right? And we don't want to be, start off this conversation on a downer, but let's go into caffeine." Caffeine has a quarter life of about 12 hours so if you have a cup of coffee at noon, a quarter of that caffeine is still circulating around your brain at midnight. You would never do that for a good night of sleep because unfortunately what people do completely innocently by drinking caffeine in the afternoon it's a huge problem.
