As you master it, the quicker you are able to get into a transmental, transcendent state. And that's the state at ideal. Once you get this, you go back into meditation again. What usually comes in is a vision about what you may ont accomplish or what you want to do. Or maybe a new perception of something. It'll be a perception, some decision or some action that will usually come through. As long as you're concentrating on finer detail and moving from one detail to another, you can keep an image in your mind indefinitely.
