What's Happening in Central Asia?
New states or tribes or ethnic groups that come to power and suddenly appear on the map, they're really just kind of loose alliances or confederations of small nomadic groups. And compare to, say, seeing fish moving around in a lake or an ocean: when a new group appears on the scene, it's sort of like when fish coming together and forming a school. But then just as quickly, when a threat shows up or the current angees, just dissolving, right? And kind of melting away back into the landscape. That seems to be what has happened over and over again in central asia, right?
