Russia's Digging in for the Long-Term

The Pentagon itself said it had a low confidence about the numbers. The Russians have lost in terms of either dead or wounded between 189,500 and 223,000 whereas Ukrainian casualties are 124,500 to 131,000. Russia has a population more than three times Ukraine's in on that level. In some ways these kind of figures will help give the Russian some degree of confidence that in the long-term they'll win.
