The Motivation to Leave the Treasury in 2011

When you left Treasury in 2011, some coalition MPs had been openly attacking you since about 2008. That was years later though. Yeah. I guess I'm curious, like, what, what part of your motivation in leaving in 2011 was to protect the broader institution of the Treasury from political attacks? Well, it was certainly, it was playing on, it wasCertainly playing on my, my mind. But it's, I thought a lot about this and Tony Abbott is no doubt prepared to be vindictive when he took government.
