The Relationship Between Drinking and Addiction

Do you see a correlation between your drinking and what happened in your childhood? Was there a sense of running away from it? Or do you think that that addictiveness came from something else or just, I guess, genetically how you showed up in the world? You know, my mum and dad, yeah, it was dysfunctional. She was an Italian, beautiful looking woman. My dad was his little East End funny, larger-than-life character. They were like, at each other. It's that, you know, she pressed every button in his body. But I had the best upbringing. My dad loved me, took me everywhere with him. My mum was a great mum.
