The Importance of Test Scores in Admissions
Washington Monthly does a good job of really looking at some of the qualitative factors and telling people what the data is. Test scores do a better job of predicting the likeliness for a student to graduate in four years than other criteria such as graduation rates. Pell Grant, yes, more people are paying attention to Pell. But there's still such a class, there's stillsuch a bias toward income and education of the family.
