CHAPTER

The Inner Workings of the American Judiciary

The first episode of the series went out two weeks ago it's on every week every Wednesday night for five weeks. Women are I think 60% are in there for drug related offenses so you're looking at women who are used as mules by men in criminal gangs drug mills or women that are directly affected by addiction themselves. They would have been born into generational addiction incarceration maybe born addicted with their parents using whilst they were pregnant. A very small percent of women go to prison for violent crimes so you don't walk into a maximum security prison and meet loads of myra hindlies and rose wests because they're just so rare.
