Is There a Receptacle for Venting?
In the work situation, what can happen and what I hear often is there's usually someone in the office that becomes that receptacle for venting. So if you are a receptacle to many venters, ask yourself why and how can I make this conversation more constructive for the person who is talking to me? How can I maybe limit the time? Like I'm available for five minutes, do some house cleaning. After that, I got to get my work done.
