When you're working for a kid, there's also a lot of chaff in that feedback. The thing I worry about is wanting someone with more tenure or some of the more experience. There are a few things that are more annoying than teaching your manager about your job. And especially if you've had a bunch of managers and so being aware of that and asking what you can do to decrease annoyance could be helpful.
