Drugs and Mental Disorders
The last few years we've been talking about mental health so much more than we ever had. It's become much less stigmatized. And i think this has something in part to do with how these drugs shaped our conceptualization of what mental disorders are. In the aftermath ofthe development of the s s ris, you have this real sense that mental disorders are brain diseases. But i don't necessarily see mental disorders in this way. I think the brain is certainly implicated.
