Pablo Escandón Wins With the Help of the Customary Election Fraud
In 1910, the peasants made a petition to this governor, Pablo Escandón, who'd stolen the election. So months later, in a small village named Aene Guilical, peasants meet in a general assembly and they elect their own. The land deeds are the theoretical basis for the revolution. They are material proof that legitimized recourse to armed insurrection.
