The Muslim Conquest of North Africa
There aren't that many existing records from any of these three groups regarding the Muslim conquest of North Africa. Many of the events that have been recorded are legends, and so what we have from these legends is information that has to be taken with a grain of salt. The Muslims or the Arabs did not steam roll across North Africa like they did in Syria and Persia during the times of the early Holofarashidun. They didn't just steam roll over the Byzantines and the Berbers. It took some time. And there was a lot of back and forth before the Umayyad Caliphate finally was able to bring some stability and actually hold this region down for good.
