The War Between Britain and Argentina Over the Falklands

In 1982, the Falklands War broke out between Britain and Argentina. In 74 days of war, 255 British soldiers and 649 Argentinian soldiers were killed. Maradona's revenge would have to wait as he first had to prove his worth at Barcelona. It did not go to plan when an opponent tackled him hard and broke his ankle. He tried cocaine for the first time but was soon back on the pitch in three months after being given a six-month injury ban.
