The Relationship Between the Body and the Machine
In addition to writing I also run a bit. And one of the things I enjoy so much about cycling in contrast to running is, is that sort of symbiotic feeling of the body and the machine. Right. The bicycle is so unique in that sense, in kind of bringing the those two elements together and you feel sort of as like one piece of the thing. Heidegger's for with good reason his reputation has descended into the pits with the release of his black notebooks but he still has some very interesting things to say about tools and technicality or relationship of a human being to given tools in the world.
