Why Persecute His Thou, Lord?
Saul asks the question: Why persecute his thou, me? Can you hear this in the voice of the Savior who always seemed to call people's attention by repeating their name twice? Martha, Martha. Or Jerusalem, Jerusalem. The Lord knows who this man is. Even though he's an enemy, the Lord calls him and calls him by name. He calls it twice to make sure he has his attention. And then such a powerful question. That's a really good question. Why am I doing this? Think hard. What is motivating my actions? Just like we saw before, what's keeping me from making these changes? Well, why aren't I doing this?"
