How Do You Read Music?
Guitarist Emmett O'Neill says he's never been a great sight reader. He learned to play jaz in high school, but couldn't read the music because he'd never played it before. His teacher helped him learn how to read by working with him year-by-year for 18 years. "I still would not say, though, that i'm a great sightreader," said O'Neill. 'That's my my thing.'
