I feel like what's more interesting is the idea, or just the scope of the project is much more limited. The whole thing with open source is, what am I going to sell this thing or just keep it for myself? It's a lot more fun to build something relevant and see some impacts,. See some people using it, building a small community of people will get value. And so it's worth saying for everyone that this is fully open sourced.
