Dante's final vision shows how he is not just Christian but a Christ too sharing in this oneness. of Christ around him that is what it means to be with Christ in this Paradiso part of his journey and eventually they leave the heavenly spheres travel through the prima mobility into the Imperium where direct awareness of the divine becomes increasingly possible for Dante. Paul realized too in his own recognition that he wasn't just remembering Christ but was following the path of Christ taking up his cross as well, says David Wallis.
