The Long Reign of a Bad King

The reign of Manasseh lasted 55 years. His son, Ayman, was 22 when he started his reign. He last lasted a total of two years in Jerusalem. Some servants got together behind closed doors, had low conspiracy and they put the king to death in his house. It's one of these royal messes literally that we've seen a few other times in first and second Kings.
