What Prompted, What Motivated Putin to Go Forth?
There was this real debate about whether he was a cautious decision maker, that he wouldn't do anything to extreme each of the military interventions that we saw. He badly miscalculated Ukraine and this self-delusion meant has been a part and quite consistent, pretty much since 2014. The degree of simplicity of the political system that Putin built in its complete failure to learn from the previous lessons is almost scary, but also frustrating for somebody who studies political systems.
