The proximity stat doesn't get to how good was the shot relative to what you wanted it to be because it doesn't take into account your strategy. The limitation of all these maybe when we look at PGA Tour players we're not sure of their intent on every shot either We don't know what their target was. Exactly this is why it's so important I've been doing this for years tracking your shot relative to your aim. And that's why the round review you know I love doing that too after every round I just think about what I did. You need to still look for these patterns and see what’s going on but as you said you can trick them a little bit
