I Think It's an Athlete Welfare Approach
Trying to get growing bodies to conform to an idealized movement pattern carries a great deal of risk. So i think tat the beauty of what youv described is that they are a bit more aware of the dynamics of the game, and especially when they change in terms of their own development. I actually think it's another reason why i'm so passionate about a non linear pedagogy because, in my view, i think it's an athlete welfare a kind of approach.
