The chinese government allows 34 films from abroad each year. They have a quota, yes, and they oly pick films that are going to be good for the chinese populace. This gave me an audible lall like it wasn't just an exhale of air fo atlast. Yes, this is how hollywood was capitulating to the chinese government. It's as simple as that.
