The Life Style of a Toro Bravo

A toro bravo is a gentle animal who loves tranquillity and avoids confrontation unless directly threatened. The most aggressive a bull will usually get on the ranch is in blood less sparring matches with other bulls. A calf, once it has suffered one bad day filled with the shocks of branding, ear, noch and inoculation, is left much to its own devices for three or as many as six years. Contact with humans is kept to an absolute bare minimum, but not because bulls are inherently bloodthirsty.
