Is Sherlock Holmes Really Conan Doyle?

Bell was actually kind of a nice, charming guy. Re he was known to be really caring, funny, compassionate. Conan doyle does seem to have added a little bit of himself to holmes character as a lot of writers do in their works. We also see different influences from other people who lived in edinburgh at the time and that during that same period.
