Epicureanism and the Stoics

I wouldn't say I found it pleasant. There's no set number of articles you have to publish every year, but you pretty much have to be working all the time on some project or other. It turns out that for a hedonist, Epicurus was pretty disappointing. In his view, the only thing you have any real reason to pursue is your own pleasure.
