The Materialist Theorist Is Not a Materialist
If a philosophy entails that you don't exist, you have a very good reason not to believe that philosophy. The thing we know most directly and that every person knows most directly contradicts the materialist philosophy. We can't yet make a machine that can do the simple things that a three year old child can do with her hands. And so it also relates to this problem in robotics called Norwevex paradox after a robotics professor named Hans Morwevex. That doesn't follow any more than if you make a tractor strong and fast enough, it's going to become an ox.
