The Importance of Automatic Instrumentation

context propagation is like the main reason why create a distributed traces as much harder than creating logs or even metrics. And yeah, I think in general the process of manual instrumentation is looking pretty much the same regardless of the signal. For example, if you want to add a new metrics of how much time some function takes, you would probably in the naive case would want to record the style type stamp and the hand type stamp at the end of the function. So the process of Manual Instrumentation is a little bit different between the signals, but the process looks also the same.
