God, Thank You That I'm Not Like These Other People

A tax collector, his prayer's completely different. He didn't even get up to the temple ecause hedidn't feel like do. I don't feel right going into the temple of god. And then it says that he would not even look up to heaven when he prayed. The word here actually is only used twice in the new testament,. One of em were where it literally means to make atonement for or to cover over. To atone for what i've done and somehow cover up the sin? So you do it for my life. Can you show me mercy?
