If you think something's got a sort of 60% probability of being true, is it not possible to think that another hypothesis maybe has 55% chance of being true? You've got more than a hundred here, which implies that the arguments aren't sort of competing for the percentage space. Most people will attribute a vanishing likelihood to whatever alternative plausible explanation say, well, that's possible, but it's 0.001. That's an incredibly powerful question because then you could see what role that actually, that actually plays.
