The Power of Fear
From These We'llurds Often Confused with Surprise. Both expressions show distinctly raised eyebrows, you know, a fear expression's eyebrows are usually straighter and more horizontal whereas in surprises are raised and curved. Also the upper eyelid is also lifted higher with fear than surprise, exposing more of the white of our eye. And usually the lips are tensed and stretched in fear, but more open and slack was surprised.
